Translation does not work on mobile after updating

    Hi,

    After updating the plugin to the latest version, the plugin doesnt translate any text and I get an error in the console.

    caught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘slice’)

    I downgraded the plugin to 2.9.15 and it works (even though the error persists).

    Any advice how to fix this?

    Hi,

    I see you use Divi theme and your mobile menu is being derived from the desktop menu, but the script which copies it does not copy the click events on the flags, so translations do not work. It is in /wp-content/themes/Divi/js/scripts.min.js file, function named et_duplicate_menu. This function should also copy all events associated with elements being copied. Please consult your theme support for a solution.

    You can use our paid version which does not need on click events and uses direct links to languages. Alternatively you can use the Floating language selector option out of the menu.

    Previous version was working because language links had onclick attribute explicitly like this <a href="#" onclick="f()" ..., new version does not have onclick attribute and it is being assigned by javascript like this language_link.addEventListener('click', f).
